With its postcolonial history, a low level of living, with corruption, misuse of power and abuse of children as soldiers, Africa struggles for pure survival on the one hand, while on the other hand metropolises such as Nairobi, Lagos or Cape Town generate success stories of economic, cultural and educational growth.
